At Bright Eyes Photography in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, we have been doing cake smashes for eleven years! Whether you want a bright and colourful style with all the razzmatazz, or simple so it's all about the baby, let us help create your special memories to celebrate your baby's biggest milestone yet. Not sure about the sugar for your baby? We now have a brand new SUGAR-FREE, egg free cake! Or why not try a naked or semi-naked cake with fruit? Or a sugar-free jelly smash, fruit smash or watermelon cake smash alongside our usual choice of frosted vanilla sponge. Or what about spaghetti or a fake cake? The choice is yours. We also run non-food one year mini-sessions.
Every one of our Cake Smash sessions now come with our delightful MP4 video slideshows to music which recent parents are raving over! Fabulous to show at your child's first birthday party (as well as their 18th!) to share all the craziness we capture and to keep the memories alive!

Yes we totally understand that children these days should have limited or no sugar, that is the sucrose/glucose type sugar. However fruit can supply its own natural sweetness and this 4 inch layer cake was made using ripe banans and blueberries…with no eggs..just natural fruit sweetness. The topping is whipped cream cheese and butter..again no sugar! This can also be coloured/flavoured using freeze dried fruit.

Cake Smash Standard £250
Our standard cake smash package is not really standard! If you book this you will receive 25 of the best high resolution images as well as a slideshow to music which includes a few mini video clips! It includes a cake to smash and the set design and props.
First there is the opportunity to have a family photo against the cake smash set. Then we will take some photos with the O,N,E letters or our new ONE blocks. The cake smash will be next then after, when your baby is messy, there’ll be chance to clean up in a bubbly bathtub.

Memory Boards
You think you'll remember all the little details but in truth many of them are lost as life progresses..This is a truly memorable keepsake of your child's first birthday, offering a snapshot of their favourite things, their first words or how many teeth they have. A 16x12 inch pre-designed mounted photo. Categories can be changed to suit the child. Three weeks notice is required in order to design, proof and order the board so that it is ready on cake smash day. An extra photo with the board on our easel is also included and you can take the board home on the day. Payment required when you order from us.

This little beauty is so cute! Eight by eight inches square, a padded photo cover (back and front) and 10 spreads (20 pages) With a lay flat design photos can be over the full spread if required.
